Memorial Services for Dolly May Chapman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services, with Charlie Howard officiating.
Dolly died Monday, July 4, 2011 at Good Samaritan Village, at the age of 71. Dolly was born March 4, 1940 in Ravenden, AR, the daughter of Jesse and Ruby Coy Carson Foster. She married Carroll Chapman on December 19, 1959 at Mountain Home, AR. She owned and operated Dolly's Almost New Shop. Dolly lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas most of her life. She was a member of College and North Church of Christ.
Dolly is survived by her husband, Carroll Chapman, of Mountain Home, AR, daughter, Sherri Chadwell, of Mountain Home, mother, Ruby Foster, 7 brothers, Jesse, Jr. (Mary) Foster, of Mountain Home, Troy Foster, of Norfork, AR, Charlie (Ann) Foster, of Mountain View, AR, David (Laquita) Foster, of Mountain Home, Jimmy Foster, of Mountain Home, Jackie Foster, of Mountain Home, Alonzo (Sandy) Foster, of Ash Flat, AR, 4 sisters, Helen (Chuck) Stubelt, of Gainesville, MO, Theresa (Don) Manning, of Mountain Home, Joyce (Vernon) Meents,of Yellville, AR, Bobbie (Roy) Woods, of Salesville, AR, and 2 grandchildren, Calli (Mat) Beck, of Mountain Home, and Jordan (Elizabeth) Chadwell, of Springfield, MO.
She was preceded in death by her father, 1 son, and 2 brothers.
