Dolores Smakal

Dolores C. Smakal was born March 8, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Louis and Bessie Pfruindner Marcucci. She married James Smakal, October 25, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Smakal was a pharmacist assistant. She lived in Lakeview, Arkansas since moving from Berwyn, Illinois, in 1985. She was a former member of Grover Township Activities Committee, the Lakeview Community Club and St. Peter?s Catholic Church. Dolores C. Smakal passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center, April 8, 2006, at the age of 83 years. Survivors: Two sons, James (Sandra) Smakal of Lakeview, Arkansas and Russel (Mary) Smakal of Lyons, Illinois; six grandchildren, Debra Davidson, Kelly Munn, Daniel Smakal, Russel Smakal Jr., Justin Smakal and Kevin McDonald; six great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jordan Davidson, Dillan and Caroline Smakal, Mary Claire Munn, Robert McDonald; and one brother, Robert (Mary) Marcucci of Largo, Florida Preceded in Death by: Her parents; husband; one brother; one sister; and a grandson, James Funeral: A memorial service for Dolores Smakal, 83, of Lakeview was private.
