Funeral Services for Dolores Iona Todd of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, August 4, 2014 at New Hope Baptist Church, Pollard, Arkansas, with Reverend Don Estes officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until time of service at the church.
Dolores passed away July 31, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was born December 31, 1925, in Plainville, Indiana, the daughter of Delbert and Mary Frances Harbaugh Slatton. She married Charles Calvin Todd on June 15, 1943, at Columbus, Georgia. She was a homemaker and raised five sons. She was a pastor's wife and was responsible for taking care of the food pantries and clothes closets for the different ministries. Dolores lived in Mountain Home many years, moving from Herculaneum, Missouri. She was a member of the Gamaliel Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting, reading and bible study.
Dolores is survived by her three sons, Charles Delbert (Nancy) Todd of Jackson, MO, Jesse Ray (Jacqueline) Todd of Eureka, MO and Tony (Becky) Todd of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters-in-law, Rose Todd of Poplar Bluff, MO and Mary Todd of Vanduser, MO; eleven grandchildren, Mark (Janice) Todd of Jackson, MO, Jeffrey Todd of Scott City, MO, Tony (Valerie) Todd of St. Louis, MO, Paul Todd of Sikeston, MO, Catinna Fitchpatrick of Vanduser, MO, Chrystal (David) Carrera of Mascoutah, IL, Jim (Melody) Todd of Jackson, MO, Dolores (Larry) Triller of Perryville, MO, Keith (Tisha) Todd of Jackson, MO, Jesse (Kim) Todd of Mountain Home, AR and Christopher Todd of Clark Ridge, AR, nineteen great-grandchildren, Jessica Todd, Nick & Claudia Cassout, Max & Sam Todd, Bryan Todd, Tyler & Maddie Fitchpatrick, Derek, Joshlyn & Zerika Carrera, Crystal & Chelsea Todd, Dylan Christisen, Kyle & Lexton Triller, Cheyenne & Daniel Todd and Kaitlyn Todd; two great-great-grandchildren, Derek Carrera and Kaiden Todd and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Keith Allen Todd and Mark Edward Todd; grandson, Charles David Todd; brother, Delbert Ray Slatton and sister, Patricia Lund.
Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery, Pollard, Arkansas, with Mark, Jeffrey, Tony, Paul, Jim, Keith, Jesse and Christopher Todd as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
