Donald Allensworth

A Celebration of Life for Donald Eugene Allensworth, 73, of Bull Shoals, AR will be at 2PM Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Reverend Terry Hart officiating. Don went home to be with his Savior on Friday February 17, 2012. Don was born June 9, 1938, at Lincoln, NE to Donald and Lily Schluper Allensworth. He married Linda Krueger at Canyon City, CO, June 27, 1969. Don moved to Bull Shoals from Colorado Springs, CO in 2005 after retiring from Law Enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff. He would have told you he was ?living the good life?. Near the end of his life Don shared with family that he had a ?Great Ride?. Don?s special relationship with his in-laws was a testimony to his commitment to his family. Don is survived by his wife, Linda of Bull Shoals, AR; daughter, Krista Jo Allensworth (Ryan Blackburn) of Colorado Springs, CO and two sons Mike Norris of North Carolina and Jeff Norris (Rhonda) of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and special canine friend, Stoney. Memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals Theater of Arts. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
