A Gathering of Friends for Donald W. Drake of Midway, Arkansas, will be from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Kirby and Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home, with a Memorial Service beginning at 5:00 pm, with Reverend J.W. Ott officiating.
Donald passed away January 28, 2012, in Midway, Arkansas, at the age of 75. He was born November 30, 1936, in Cincinnati, OH, the son of Paul and Dorothy Walker Drake. He married Lois Alexander on December 28, 1974, at Chicago, IL, and worked as a Technical Engineer. Donald lived in Midway, Arkansas, since 1998, moving from Chicago, IL. He was a member of the Flippin Lion's Club, Bull Shoals/Lakeview Rotary Club, and was a Lion's International Past District Governor.
Donald is survived by his wife, Lois Drake; 2 daughters, Debra Beach, of Hattiesburg, MS, and Cheryl Bullock, of Purvis, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
