Donald Miles Fischer was born October 26, 1932 at Chicago, Illinois to Louis and Adelaide Landwehr Fischer. He worked as an Ironworker in the Construction trade and was a U.S. Army Korean Veteran. He married Arlene Trojan on August 2, 1974 at Chicago, Illinois. They moved to Moutnain Home in 1979 from Clarenden Hills, Illinois. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, small engine repair, model airplanes and singing. He was a member of S.P.B.Q.s and the Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He passed away on October 27, 2004 at his residence at the age of 72 years and one day. Survivors: Wife: Arlene Fischer of Mountain Home, 2 Sons; Frank and wife Pam Fischer of Mountain Home and Todd Fischer of Medaryville, Indiana, One Daughter Carol and husband Richard Kellem of Mountain Home. Three Step-Sons; Richard and Wife Cheri Geib of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, Lawrence Geib of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Philip Geib of Chicago, Illinois. Six grandchildren; Gregory, Jessica, Braden, Kendl, Clayton and Alex. Preceded in Death by: Parents, three brothers and one sister Funeral: Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004 at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Carl Cook officiating.
