Donald passed away May 7, 2014, in Gamaliel, Arkansas at the age of 87. He was born September 21, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Gilbert and Eleanor Gaylord Jones. He married Florence Heidel on June 17, 1944, and worked as a contractor. Donald was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He lived in Gamaliel since October, 2012, moving from Corona, California. He loved to travel, do woodworking and watch baseball. He loved his children and grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his son, Robert M. (Laura) Jones of Seaside, OR four daughters, Doris (Steven) Prince of Orange, CA, Dona (Jim) Zarr of Tigard, OR, Debby (Ed) Lockhart of Tigard, OR and Dianne and her husband, Gary Farace, who Donald considered a son, of Gamaliel, AR; brother, Gordon Jones of Hemet, CA; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife; brother, Gilbert Jones and sister, Dorothy Thomas.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
