Donald Krantz

Donald Krantz died Friday, March 13, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 80. He was born Monday, December 10, 1928 in Cardwell, Missouri, the son of William and Margie Slayton Krantz. He married Evelyn Matthews on August 7, 1956 at Yuma, Arizona and worked as a brick mason. Donald lived in Mountain Home since 1972 moving from California. He was a very loving, caring and giving person, a loving husband, father and grandfather who had many friends. He was a hard working man who cared for his family. Survivors: Donald Krantz is survived by his wife, Evelyn Krantz and son, Steve (Angie) Krantz of Mountain Home, AR, sister, Hazel (Ray) Duncan of Mountain Home, AR, granddaughters, Jessica (Richard) Carraway of Newport, AR, and Lindsay Krantz of Memphis, TN, grandson, Tod Nicely of Phoenix, AZ, Great-granddaughter, Kelsey Krantz Carraway and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, many brothers and sisters. Funeral: Memorial services for Donald Wilburn Krantz of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 16, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mike Howell officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
