A Memorial Service for Donald Lee Parker of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Susie Wilson officiating. Masonic Rites will be provided by the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #225 F&AM. A Gathering of Friends will be 10:00 am until service time. Donald passed away April 7, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born February 21, 1931, in West Plains, Missouri, the son of Victor and Blanche Lumpkins Parker. He married Alyce Lou Foote on December 21, 1952, at Genoa, Illinois and worked as a materials handler for Baxter Laboratories. Donald was a U.S. Navy veteran and lived in Mountain Home, since 1968, moving from Genoa, Illinois. He was a member of the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #225 F&AM and enjoyed golf, baseball and NASCAR races. Donald is survived by his companion and caregiver, Margaret Sperry of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Scot (Lynn) Parker of Mountain Home, AR and Mike Parker of Mountain Home, AR; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one daughter, Lou Ann Raley; one brother, Ken Parker and one grandchild, Kristy Mooney Vinson. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
