Donna Anderson

A Memorial Service for Donna Marie Anderson of Flippin, Arkansas, will be 10:30 am, Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Christian Church of Flippin, with Reverend Steve Bond officiating. Donna passed away March 9, 2013, at the Calico Rock Medical Center, at the age of 87. She was born July 23, 1925, in Akiak, Alaska, the daughter of Captain Louis John and Wenona Hanly Knaflich. She married Cedrick Samuel Anderson on May 18, 1946, at Los Angeles, California and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Donna lived in Flippin, since 1983, moving from Los Angeles, California. She was a member of the Christian Church of Flippin. She was an actress, dancer and artist. She made guest appearances on numerous TV shows, taught dancing at the university and had her own dance school in Flippin. She told her friends that she had completed her "Bucket List". Donna is survived by her sister, Pat Tury of Henderson, NV and close friends, Elizabeth Pierce, Ron Proctor, Pat & Larry Bergman, Ellen Kerwood and Thomas Bergman. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Memorials may be made to Christian Church of Flippin or Marion County Meals on Wheels. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
