Dora Anna Bates

Dora Anna Clark Bates, 79, went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2022. Anna was born in Old Joe Arkansas on March 25, 1943, to LH and Dora Evalina Smith Clark.

Anna is survived by two children Trena Kochman and Lee Dean Watters; and four grandchildren, Deanna, Mitchell, Shawn, and Rachel; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, LH and Evalina Clark; her husband, Wendell Keith Bates; two sisters, Bonnie Cantrell and Ruby Britt; and brother Gail Clark.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ray Lamb officiating. Burial will be in the Melbourne Cemetery, in Melbourne, Arkansas.
