Doreen Brown

A visitation for Doreen Marie Brown of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. A family graveside service will be held privately. Doreen passed away May 11, 2012, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 48. She was born June 7, 1963, in Elmhurst, Illinois, the daughter of Donald and Donna Loome Wilkes. She married Doug Brown on August 16, 1986, at Fairview, Arkansas and was a waitress. Doreen lived in Arkansas since 1977, moving from Elmhurst, Illinois. She and Doug attended Real Life Church of Flippin, Arkansas, and she enjoyed walking, fishing, and talking on the phone. Doreen is survived by her husband, Doug Brown, of Bull Shoals; daughter, Dacia (Giancarlo) Vigna and soon to be granddaughter, Lillian Rose, of Mountain Home, AR; parents, Donald and Donna Wilkes of Flippin, AR; brother, Dan Wilkes of Joplin, MO; sister, Debbie (Chuck) Myers of Bull Shoals, AR; sister-in-law, Glenna Cruz of Flippin, AR; 2 nephews, Brent (Jessica) Mitchell of Bull Shoals, AR, and Kail Wilkes of Flippin, AR; and 3 nieces, Lacey (Jason) Williams of Joplin, MO, Brandy (Mike) Weissman of Bull Shoals, AR, and Kristen Wilkes of Flippin, AR. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Wilkes. Burial will be in the Flippin Cemetery, Flippin, Arkansas, with Brent Mitchell, Kail Wilkes, Giancarlo Vigna, Dan Wilkes, Wade Fox, Dion Cruz, Nick Loome, Willy Runyon, and Rick Molve and Bob Molve as honorary pallbearers.
