Doris Eileen Bahan Branaman Houser of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away September 29, 2022, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 95. She was born March 29, 1927, in Minier, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph and Izora Hurley Bahan. Doris worked as a Registered Nurse as a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria, Illinois. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Mountain Home, AR. The Branaman families have been property owners in the Fairview Community since 1964.
Doris is survived by her two sons, Rick (Carla) Branaman of Washington, IL and twin brother, Ran (Charlene McBee) Branaman of Flippin, AR; daughter-in-law, Garby Branaman; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Lea Hawkins) Branaman, Julie (Eric) Dupree, Dustin(Mimi Johnson) Branaman, Jenny (Tim) Cohenhour, Tatum (Remi Perdal) Branaman, Garrett (Kaley) Branaman and Austin (Bella Williams) Branaman; great-grandchildren, Ruth Dupree, Nathan Dupree, Della Cohenhour, Corra Cohenhour and Lucian Branaman; two sisters, Darlene (Bob) Devore and Connie (Frank) Cremeens; brothers, Maurice Bahan and Jake (Linda) Bahan; sister-in-law, Rosemary Bahan; four stepchildren, Amy, Beth, Jim and Alan many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John W. Branaman; second husband, Lloyd Houser; son, Ron Branaman; brother, Bill Bahan and sister Betty Buchele.
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery Hwy 178, Flippin, AR at a later date.
