Doris Gelhorn

Doris Gelhorn was born March 18, 1925, in Deselm, Illinois. She was the daughter of Alvin and Lillian Barrett Studtmann. She married Elmer Gelhorn, June 2, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a homemaker. Mrs Gelhorn lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since moving from Chicago in 1988. Mrs. Gelhorn loved music, sewing and was vice president of VIP's. She was an active member of Community of Christ Church. Doris Gelhorn passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center, April 7, 2006, at the age of 81 years, and 19 days. Survivors: Four daughters, Beverly McCaig of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Beth Redman of Sacramento, California, Brenda Juretschko of Warrenville, Illinois, and Barbara Sheeley of Seattle, Washington; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Paul Studtmann of Lombard, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: Her parents; husband, Elmer; one daughter and one grandchild Funeral: A memorial service for Doris Gelhorn, 81, of Mountain Home will be at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Community of Christ Church.
