Doris Stahlberg

Doris Anita Stahlberg was born November 23, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Arthur Harry and Catherine Marie Mertes Lauer. She was a homemaker and member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she participated in the Cheer Group, Travel Club and Social Club. She also volunteered for the Welcome Wagon. Doris Anita Stahlberg passed away at her residence on August 31, 2005, at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 8 days. She and her family were blessed with support from kind neighbors and Hospice of the Ozarks. Survivors: One son, Robert R. Stahlberg of Redondo Beach, California; daughter Judith (Juel) Greenblatt of Grayslake, Illinois; brother, Arthur Harry Lauer Jr., of Wisconsin, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren Preceded in Death by: Her parents; sister, Marie Beyer of Hatfield, Arkansas; and daugher, Lynne Marie Engelhardt Funeral: A memorial service will be held in Illinois at a later date.
