Doris Wolfe

Doris Louise Wolfe was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 9, 1919. She was the daughter of Roy F. and Marie Catherine Terteling Brown. Her mother, Marie, died when Doris had just turned nine years old. A few years later her father married Gail B. Kelley. Doris had one sister and one brother who preceded her in death. She also had a half-brother. Doris met Cleve Wolf Jr. on VJD August 14, 1945. They were married on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1946. They had one daughter, Kathleen Ellen, born September 22, 1947. Her death, June 28, 2002 was a devastating blow to Doris and Cleve. The Wolfe family moved to the Mountain Home, Arkansas from Mountain View, Missouri in 1990. Mrs. Wolfe participated in the Welcome Wagon Club and she was a member of the Catholic faith. Doris Louise Wolfe passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on April 19, 2005, at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 10 days.
