Dorman Ross

Dee Ross died August 13, 2007 at Hospice House at the age of 82. He was born February 11, 1925 in Missouri to Oliver and Sara Dorman Ross. Dee married Joanne Patricia Leeper in September, 1959. She preceded him in death on July 13, 2007. He worked as a car salesman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. They had lived in the Mountain Home area since moving from Tuckerman, Arkansas in 1960. Survivors: He is survived by three daughters - Sue (Bill) Ashford of Paragould, AR, Deborah (Steven) Fitzgerald of Fairfax, VA, Kathy Ross of Mountain Home, AR, four grandchildren - Scott, Samantha, Steffanie and Ross, five great grandchildren, three sisters - Billie Dial and Arlene Dial, both of Miami, FL, Dell Lamar of Richmond, VA, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one sister. Funeral: A memorial service for Dorman "Dee" and Joanne Ross of Mountain Home will be at 4:00 P.M. Friday, August 17, 2007 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Barney Larry officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church building fund, Hospice of the Ozarks or Rocky Ridge Animal Refuge.
