Dorothy J Boyer of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 11, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. She was born December 31, 1933, in Elgin, Illinois, the daughter of Herbert and Evelyn Parrish. She married Donald E. Boyer on December 30,1955 and worked as a Secretary for U-46 School District before retiring. Dorothy has lived in Mountain Home since moving there in 1998. She loved to read romance novels, knit, garden, play solitaire and work her puzzles.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Donald Boyer of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Laura (Robert) Besler of IL; sons Donald (Missy) Boyer Jr.,Thomas Boyer, Robert Boyer, John Boyer and Stephen Boyer; brother, David ( Kathy) Parrish, Norfolk, AR; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Herbert Parrish.
Services will be private.
