Graveside services for Dorothy Arline Cook of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Mountain Home, will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 14, 2009 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor John Easterling officiating.
Dorothy died Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 87. She was born Thursday, July 20, 1922 in Lincoln, Kansas, the daughter of Albert and Anna Johanna Larson Cain. She married Fernando Cook on April 13, 1974 at Hutchinson, KS and was a bookkeeper. Dorothy lived in Apache Junction for about 10 years after leaving Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Dorothy Cook is survived by her son, Marvin Roelse of Gold Canyon, AZ and 2 sisters, Thelma Prickitt of Marlton, NJ and Ruth Smith of Bend, OR.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
