Dorothy Everly

Dorothy Mae Everly was born April 26, 1924 at Cleveland, Oklahoma to Francis M. and Stella Oliphant Crosswhite. She married Elzie Everly on November 7, 1942 at East Prairie, Missouri. She moved to Gamaliel, Arkansas in 1975 from East Prairie and worked at the Baxter Manor Nursing Home as a dietitian. She attended the Gamaliel Baptist Church. Dorothy passed away Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Care Manor Nursing Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 11 days Survivors: Three daughters; Janice (Charles) Foreman of Gamaliel, Arkansas, Donna (Roger) Ralph of Covington, Tennessee and Joann (Keith ) Oliver of Mayfield, Kentucky. One foster son; Michael Hayden of Covington, Tennessee, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and one sister: Lucille Prichett of East Prairie, Missouri. Preceded in Death by: Parents and husband Visitation: From 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the Shelby Funeral Home Chapel in East Prairie, Missouri with Reverend Keith Oliver officiating.
