A Memorial Service for Dorothy Pearl Holland of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Norbert Rappold officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of service.
Dorothy passed away May 5, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. She was born July 20, 1932, in Grafton, North Dakota, the daughter of Fred and Pearl Misialek. Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for the Phoenix Public School System. She lived in Mountain Home since 2001, moving from Phoenix. She married Richard Holland on November 17, 2006, in Mountain Home and was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She really enjoyed volunteering at the Baxter Regional Medical Center and traveling with her husband.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Richard Holland of Mountain Home, AR; six children, Rock (Josie) Ridenhour of Estill Springs, TN, Tim Ridenhour of Houston, TX, Ron Ridenhour of Phoenix, AZ, Dave (Juanita) Ridenhour of Pahrump, NV, Nichole Knight of Mountain Home, AR and Bill Ridenhour of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Harry (Gladys) Misialek; one sister, Joyce (Val) Sass of Superior, WS; six grandchildren, Brittney, Amber, Noah, Angela, Tori and Kevin and two great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or Good Samaritan Village.
