Dorothy Johnson

Services for Dorothy Elizabeth Johnson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be at a later date in St. Louis, Missouri. Dorothy died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Care Manor Nursing Center, at the age of 85. She was born March 8, 1925 in Venedy, IL, the daughter of Reverend Theodore August Henry and Mamie Koenig Dautenhahn. She taught school in the 1940's and worked 30 years for Armco Steel in Galena Park, Texas. In 1988 she relocated to St. Louis, Missouri. She lived in Mountain Home for 14 years moving from St. Louis. Dorothy is survived by 3 sons, Craig (Cindy) Johnson of Saint Louis, MO, Ronald (Paula) Johnson of Spring, TX and Lance Johnson of Houston, TX; 1 daughter, Lori (Marcus Fischer) Johnson of Nashville, TN; 1 sister, Lydia Lange of Tuscon, AZ; 1 brother, AL Dautenhahn of Muskegon, MI; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Elmer. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Dorothy Johnson.
