Dorothy Rhodes

Dorothy Jean Rhodes was born February 12, 1933 in Brooklyn, West Virginia. She was the daughter of John and Gertrude Smith Voholetz. She married Robert Rhodes, March 1, 1969, in St. Elmo, Illinois. She was employed in factory assembly line work. Mrs. Rhodes moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Fox Lake, Illinois in 1975 and was a member of the Mountain Home American Legion Auxillary. Dorothy Jean Rhodes passed away May 18, 2006 at Cox South in Springfield, Missouri. She was 73. Survivors: Husband of thirty-seven years, Robert Rhodes of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter, Cindy (Robert) Novak of Mountain Home, Arkansas; son, John (Mindy) Persinger, of San Ramon, California; four grandchildren, Jon Persinger, Jill Persinger, Sarah Novak, and James Persinger; one brother, John Voholetz of Barberton, Ohio; and one sister, Nancy Vanderdyk of Melbourne, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: Her parents and one sister Funeral: There will be a memorial service by the family at a later date.
