Dorothy passed away March 13, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. She was born November 6, 1929, in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Viola Koepsel Hangebrauck. She married Donald Schumaker on June 5, 1948, at Waukegan, Illinois, and was a homemaker. Dorothy lived in Mountain Home since moving from Venice, Florida in 1988. She loved to cook and entertain. Dorothy also enjoyed listening to country music and reading.
Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Grycell of Mountain Home, AR, and Debra (Danny) Collins of Mountain Home, AR; three grandsons, Chris (Brittany) Collins of Mountain Home, AR, Jason (Amy) Stephens of Lindenhurst, IL, and Rusty Bishop; and three great-grandchildren, Bailey Collins, Jonathon Stephens, and Addilyn Stephens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Shirley and Lorraine.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Paralyzed Veterans.
