A memorial Service for Dorothy Jean Storc 76, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 1, 2010, at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Gadbaw officiating. Dorothy died Friday, October 29, 2010 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Dorothy Jean Storc was born November 22, 1933 in Avant, OK, the daughter of Byrum Lamuel and Ellen Faye Wilcox Corzine. Dorothy lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas for 25 years moving from Placerville, California. She worked as a Sales Clerk for Home Style Bakery and was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed volunteering at the hospital and served as a member of the Altar Guild Ladies and the VFW Auxillary Post #3246.
Dorothy is survived by 3 sons; Kenneth Shoras, Richard (Kathy Green) Shoras and David Shoras all of Mountain Home, AR; 2 Step-Sons; Richard (Rhonda) Storc of IL, James (Cindy) Storc of IL; 5 Grandchildren; Tiffany, Cheyenne, Cody, Adrian and Caila Shoras; 1 Brother; Richard Glenn (Debbie) Corzine of Redmond, OR; 1 Sister - Alice Faye (Garry) Harper of Lapine, OR; Special Friends, Ernie Storc, Charlie & Rose Heinzelmann and Hazel Schoephoester. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, James Shoras and Richard Storc, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozark Hospice House.
