A Memorial Service for Dorothy Mae Waters of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, August 25, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Susie Wilson officiating.
Dorothy passed away August 20, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 76. She was born September 19, 1937, in Edwight, West Virginia, the daughter of Bennie and Ruth Hudson Elkins. She married Cecil Waters in 1958, at Chicago, Illinois, and was an assembler for Motorola, Inc. Dorothy lived in Mountain Home since moving from Rolling Meadows, Illinois, in 1994. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Robert (Teresa) Waters of Mountain Home, AR, and Benny Clifton (Karen) Waters of Elgin, IL; daughter, Lorraine Ellen (Pete) Tipsword of Streamwood, IL; three grandchildren, Alexander Waters, Shawn Waters, and Jennifer Hansen, and three great-grandchildren, Harper Waters, Aidan Hansen, and Addison Hansen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
