A Celebration of Life for Douglas "Doug" John Bemis of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be from 2;00 until 5:00 pm, Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the Big Creek Country Club.
Doug passed away September 28, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 67. He was born December 6, 1948, in Waverley, Iowa, the son of Earl and Marcella Dohse Bemis. He married Nancy Beuseling on September 27, 1999, at Las Vegas, Nevada and owned and operated Doug Bemis Auto Mall in Muscatine, Iowa for over 25 years. Doug lived in Mountain Home since 2004, moving from Muscatine, Iowa. He loved traveling, reading, fishing and boating.
Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Bemis of Mountain Home, AR; son, Seth Bemis and daughter-in-law Jillian; also daughter, Michelle; brother, Brian; first wife, Dianna and his adored pups, Annie and Scooter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved grandson, Devin and mother-in-law, Caryl Gramling.

Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic Transplant Program.
