Douglas Rector

Douglas Eugene Rector was born July 12, 1932 in Williamsport, Ohio. He was the son of Harry and Ruth Jones Rector. Mr. Rector served with the United States Navy during the Korean War and was Leutenant Commander for twenty-two years. He obtained his master's degree in industrial hygiene from the University of Ohio in Wilmington, Ohio. He moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Mansfield, Arkansas in 2000. Douglas E. Rector passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on September 7, 2005, at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 25 days. Survivors: One son, Wyeth Rector; two daughters, Sabrina (Darrek) Bowman of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Marcella (Mike) Wensel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Haley Bowman and Sydney Bowman; one sister, Dixie (Tony) Pringer of Strang, Oklahoma; and mother, Ruth Rector of Strang, Oklahoma Preceded in Death by: His father and one sister Funeral: Private
