Doyle Markwell

Doyle Alonzo Markwell was born January 26th 1916 at Sadorus, Illinois to Willis and Gertrude Markwell. He married Lois Stevens of Savoy, Illinois on March 29th 1941. They were companions for 60 wonderful years. Doyle was a graduate of Champaign High School and Coyne Electrical School of Chicago. He served 3 years in World War II in the Mediterrian Theater. He operated a radio repair and phono-record store in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois from 1945-1965. He then moved to Mountain Home in 1966 and had a radio store from 1971 - 1986. Survivors: He is survived by a sister, Wanda Barnes of Corvallis, Oregon. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and his darling wife, Lois. Funeral: Funeral services for Doyle A. Markwell, 92 of Mountain Home, who died May 18, 2008 will be private.
