Dr. Lester Mitchell Holden, Jr.

Lester Mitchell Holden of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 18, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 60. He was born January 16, 1965, in Sun Valley, California, the son of Lester and Ila Traxler Holden. 

Les was a graduate of Mountain Home High School and served in the United States Army. In 1997, he graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. Les and his wife Debbie owned Family Chiropractic in Russelville, Arkansas, for several years. Les' mothers family immigrated to America in 1620 on a ship called the Mayflower. Les' fathers family (Carsons) homesteaded in the Bull Shoals area in the 1850's. 

In the early 2000's, Les left the United States and lived in India and Thailand where he studied Eastern Religion and Medicines. He traveled to Namibia, Africa, for a short time, then sailed a ship back to Indonesia. He then flew to Honolulu and then the Big Island on Chain of Craters RD. He lived there for years and met Tina and made many other friends. He returned to Mountain Home in 2022 and has been working at Casey's. His co-workers gave him his last birthday card as he left work, it turned out to be his last, at the age of 60. 

Lester is survived by his aunt, Margie Robertson of Tulsa, OK; brother, Chuck; sisters, Glenda, Linda, Karen, Sharon, and Faye; numerous nieces, nephews, and a son.
