E. Aschemeyer

E. F. "Ash" Aschemeyer was born July 16, 1921, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of H.W.E. and Emma Fix Aschemeyer. He married Gladys Olson, January 23, 1943. He was employed as District Manager for Standard Oil of Indiana. He moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Alexandria, Minnesota in 1994. He had a Bachelor of Science degree in metallurgical engineering. He was a mason in Alexandria, Minnesota. In his spare time, Mr. Aschemeyer enjoyed reading, photography and farming. E. F. Aschemeyer passed away at Good Samaritan, December 10, 2005, at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 24 days. Survivors: Daughter, Karen (Neil) Hand of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sons, Jon Aschemeyer of Wiggins, Colorado and Kim Aschemeyer of Prescott, Arizona; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Pace of Franklin, Tennessee, Peter Kibby of Howell, Michigan, Mark Kibby of Hamilton, Ohio, Jayme Aschemeyer of Kansas City, Missouri and Matthew Aschemeyer of Boulder, Colorado; four great-grandchildren, Ali Pace, Pierce Kibby, Trevor Kibby and Caroline Pace, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Terri Olsen of St. Cloud, Minnesota; and six nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: His parents and wife Funeral: Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry Olson officiating, Thursday, April 27, 11:00 a.m. Memorials: Arkansas State University School of Nursing, 1600 South College, Mountain Home, AR 72653
