A Funeral Service for Earl Eugene Hall of Flippin, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Pastor Jeff Morgan officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
Earl passed away September 26, 2017, in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 68. He was born November 25, 1948, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of Eugene Hall and Evelyn Ward Parkridge. He married Dianne Hanson Dyess on April 10, 1993, in Mountain Home, Arkansas and worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Hughes Aircraft. Earl was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Earl lived in Flippin since 1990, moving from California. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1953.
Earl is survived by his wife, Dianne Hall of Flippin, AR; daughter, Tanya Hall of Indiana; mother, Evelyn Parkridge of Mountain Home, AR; three stepsons, Tim Gates of Huntsville, AR, Todd Gates of Omaha, AR and David Dyess of Yellville, AR; two stepdaughters, Yvette Wheeler of Flippin, AR and Yvonne Rimmer of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Ron Hall of Mountain Home, AR and Jackie Parkridge of Kissee Mills, MO; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR, with Ronnie Erwin, Jerod Greenlee, Caleb Wheeler, Hank Wheeler, Jr., Johnny Dyess and Kenny "Butch" Simmons as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Benny, Steve Holt, David Egner and Jeff Ply. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post # 52 and United States Army Honor Guards.
