Earl Joseph Marcel

Earl Joseph Marcel of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 26, 2023, in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born January 7, 1941, in Houma, Louisiana, the son of Aaron and Genevieve Theroit Marcel. He married Jean Carolyn Beavers in September of 1963. Earl was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked as an account executive at AT&T for 30 years. He spent his life devoted to his family and taking care of those he loved. He had a knack for knowing how to fix things and sharing his knowledge with everyone around him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Earl is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean Carolyn Marcel of Mountain Home, AR; son, Randall (Lisa) Marcel of Mountain Home, AR; daughters, Gwen (Todd) Davis of Deatsville, AL, and Amanda (Daniel) LeBlanc of Birmingham, AL; brother, Ray Marcel; sister, Janet Marcel; and grandchildren; Taylor Davis, Ally (Allan) Gulley, Marcelle LeBlanc, Ava LeBlanc, and Landon Marcel.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR.
