Funeral services for Earle Joseph "Joe" Cooper of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held at a later date.
Joe passed away July 19, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. He was born June 25, 1932, in Miles City, Montana, the son of Earle and Virginia Neal Cooper. He married Carla Wachs on June 4, 1960, at Denver, Colorado, and worked as a Savings and Loan Examiner for the Federal Government. Joe was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Joe lived in Mountain Home since moving from Houston, Texas in 2003. He enjoyed playing games on the computer and reading.
Joe is survived by his wife, Carla Cooper of Mountain Home, AR, son, Brian (Ruth) Cooper of Haltom City, TX, two daughters, Stacia (Jeff) McBride of Phoenix, AZ, and Deidre McBride of San Diego, CA, five grandchildren, Ryan, Keefe, Kelcy, and Lily McBride, and Nicole Oglesby, and one great-grandson, Jack McBride.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House or the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
