A Celebration of Life for Earleen Thelma Dowd of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Paster Tim Stephens officiating.
Earleen passed away July 12, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 69. She was born August 5, 1944, in Escondido, California, the daughter of Earl and Thelma Farr Paxton. She married George on August 6, 1962 in Escondido and worked in the meat department at Harps for 27 years. Earleen lived in Mountain Home since 1980, moving from Escondido, CA. She enjoyed fishing, car shows and spending time with grandkids.
Earleen is survived by her husband, George Dowd of Mountain Home, AR, 2 daughters; Jodie (Joe) McKinney of West Plains, MO and Carmen Rosson of Mountain Home, AR, 4 grandchildren; Daniel (Crystal) McKinney, Korrie McKinney, Courtney (Bill) Zastrow and Jordan Boothe, 4 great-grandchildren; Will, Abby, Colton, Oliver.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Of The Ozarks or American Cancer Society.
