Funeral Services for Eddie Francis Sessions of Yellville, Arkansas, will be 2:00pm, Friday, November 21, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Jerry Backus officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2014, from 5:00 until 8:00pm, at the funeral home.
Eddie passed away November 18, 2014, in Mountain Home, at the age of 61. He was born February 28, 1953, in Norfork, Virginia, the son of John and Gracie Curry Sessions. He graduated from Yellville High School in 1971. He married Mary Smith on July 29, 1973, at Gassville, Arkansas and worked as a Trailer Shop Welder for Ranger Boats for 26 years. Eddie lived in the Twin Lakes area since 1968. He was the Captain of the Cotter Fire Department and enjoyed hunting deer and turkey and working on automobiles.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Mary Sessions of Yellville, AR; daughter, Tammy (Rick) Charles of Cotter, AR; grandchildren, Trinity, Cheyanne and Jade Charles and 7 siblings, including Cheryl Osbourne of Florida and George Brickhouse of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, John.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with John Bell, Roger Olney, Mike Adkerson, Scott Russ, Marcus Harris and Richard Parlett as pallbearers. Bob Ashlock, Whit and Sue Whittington, and Dale Goodbrake will be honorary pallbearers.
