Edith Arrington

Edith Arrington died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Hospice House in Mountain Home at the age of 96. She was born Sunday, October 1, 1911 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Johannes and Hansine Laursen. She married Foy William Arrington on June 4, 1943 and was a Theater Owner. Edith lived in Mountain Home since November 2005 moving from Rockdale, Texas. Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lane of Mountain Home, AR, 2 grandchildren, Jenny Morgan of Camden, AR and Joann Lane of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and 3 great-grandchildren, Garrett Arnold, Simone Sheppard and Mason Morgan. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Funeral: A Gathering of Friends for Edith Johanne Arrington of Mountain Home, AR, will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
