Edith Drake

Mrs. Edith Drake was born October 30, 1919 to Emil and Hannah Olson in northwestern Colorado. She was the youngest of four girls. She and her husband, Lawrence moved to Mountain Home in 1967 when they started Drake's Backhoe Work, Inc. She was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church. Survivors: Mrs. Edith Drake is survived by her two children, Melva Sellers of Mountain Home, Glen Drake and his wife, Pam of Mountain Home, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: Mrs. Drake was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, and her husband Lawrence, May 17, 1995. Visitation: Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. until the service at the church. Funeral: Funeral services for Edith H. Drake age 84 of Mountain Home will be at Twin Lakes Baptist Church on Monday, September 20, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Burial: Burial will be at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please honor Mrs. Drake's memory by giving to the Senior Saints Department of Twin Lakes Baptist Church or Hospice of the Ozarks.
