Edith died Monday, November 23, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 85. She was born Sunday, March 2, 1924 in Plainfield, Illinois, daughter of Robert W. and Ethel Glen Shawver Johnson. She worked as the owner and operator of Edie's Beauty Shop in Mountain Home where she lived since 1965 moving from Chicago, Illinois.
Edith Harris is survived by 3 daughters, Carol (Stephen) Foster of Mountain Home, AR, Ann Abel of Stevens Point, WI and Michelle Sheridan of Chicago, IL, 3 grandchildren, Greg Abel of Stevens Point, WI, James Stultz of Boulder, CO and Stephanie Iovan of Chicago, IL, and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, George Ingels, second husband, Michael Iovan, third husband, Earl Harris, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
