Edith Alberta (Happs) Walker

Edith Alberta (Happs) Walker passed away November 3, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Diane Pierce of Mountain Home, AR; granddaughter, Tammy (Barry) Parker; great-grandchildren, Olivia Stone, Amber (Tyler) Hudson, and Barry (Francisca) Parker II; and a great-great-granddaughter Jada Bell Stone, all of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Irma Happs; husband, Col. Herbert L. Walker; and two sons, Herbert Walker III and Lieutenant Keith Alan Walker.
The family would like to thank the staff of Care Manor and Hospice of the Ozarks for making mom's last days comfortable and peaceful.
We were so lucky to have her in our lives. She was loved by all and will be very much missed.
Funeral Services for Edith Alberta (Happs) Walker will be private. Burial will be in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
