Edmund Pfeiffer

Edmund G. Pfeiffer was born September 18, 1910 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was the son of Gottlieb and Roselie Jingling Pfeiffer. He married Ruby Hewitt on October 10, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Pfeiffer was an engineer with the Chicago Fire Department. He loved to travel and moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1975 from Chicago Illinois. He was a member of the Protestant faith. Edmund G. Pfeiffer passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home on February 8, 2005 at the age of 94 years, 4 months and 20 days. Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Ruby Pheiffer of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughters, Gail Pfeiffer Moore of Memphis, Tennessee and Gretchen Combs of Lansing, Illinois; grandchildren, Mandy (Combs) Brunnetti and Becky (Combs) Shroba; great-granddaughter, Lily Brunnetti and one sister, Ann Pfeiffer of Palatine, Illinois. Preceded in Death by: His parents, brother Raymond Pfeiffer and sister Billie Rodak Funeral: A Memorial Service at the First United Methodist Church, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2005.
