Edward Andersen

May 6, 1953 — November 14, 2015

Edward Andersen was born on May 6, 1953 in South Gate, California and passed away on November 14, 2015 at the age of 62 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Delores in 2011, his father, Walter “Dale” Andersen earlier this year in June and his youngest brother, David Andersen in 1967.

Ed was born and raised in California, and moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1993; a place he loved and knew would be his final home on earth. Ed was raised Catholic and held his faith dearly. He loved his family and friends and cherished sharing his paradise at the lake with those he loved every opportunity he had. “Lake Time” was as important of an event as any for Ed (with the possible exception of watching his Razorbacks play- Woooo Pig Sooooie); it was an honor for all sharing that with him and seeing his smile as he talked with friends, watched his grandchildren play, and thanked God for the amazing grace that had been bestowed upon him was a special occasion for which all who knew him will forever be grateful. Ed will always be remembered for his kind heart, his eagerness to help, and his love for life, family, and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16

Edward is survived by his wife, Linda Andersen of Mountain Home and children, Mike Rose and wife Aliza of Clarkridge, Arkansas; Chad Rose and wife Rita of Mission Viejo, California; Erin Jackson and husband Alex of Bentonville, Arkansas; and his siblings, Carolynn Blair of San Clemente, California; Ronald Andersen and wife Candy of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and Sondra Ballinger and husband Kevin of Coto de Caza, California. Edward has 8 grandchildren: Jared Rose, Ryan Rose, Kyle Rose, Austin Rose, Evan Rose, Noelle Rose, Lauren Jackson and Tanner Jackson.

A private ceremony of life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, Ed would be most honored by contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project. www.woundedwarriorproject.org
