Edward Leonard Chapman of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away May 23, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. He was born August 7, 1928, in North Baltimore, Ohio, the son of Harry and Theora Zettle Chapman. He was married to his best friend and partner, Eleanor for almost 30 years. Edward was a Union Electrician for forty years. Edward was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Phoenix, AR, in 1985. He was an active member of the Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 VFW, the Elks Lodge #1714 BPOE, the Retired Fisherman's Club and the Presbyterian Church of Bull Shoals. Edward and Eleanor loved traveling and volunteering in the community.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Patrick) Fox of El Paso, TX and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and five sisters.
A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held at a later date with Military Honors provided by the Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 VFW and the United States Navy Honor Guard.
