Edward M. Karlovic was born on February 14, 1922 at Chicago, Illinois to Michael and Judith Svatik Karlovic. He married Martha Skorepa on June 21, 1947 at Berwyn, Illinois and worked as an Offset Pressman for Liberty Engraving. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He moved to Mountain Home in 1988 from Berwyn, Illinois. He was active in the Boy Scouts in Illinois for 12 years. He was a former member of the Elks and Moose Lodges in Mountain Home and the VFW. He was also a member of the Checzech American Club. He passed away on August 27, 2004 at his residence at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 13 days. Survivors: Wife; Martha Karlovic of Mountain Home, two sons; William M. Karlovic and wife Karen of Countryside, Illinois and Edward R. Karlovic and wife Connie of Hickory Hills, Illinois. Three grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one brother; Elmer Kulousek of Berwyn, Illinois also survives. Preceded in Death by: His parents Visitation: From 9:30 until service time at 11:00. Funeral: Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Reverend Larry Olson officiating.
