Edward J. Kasmar was born August 18, 1925, in Cicero, Illinois. He was the son of John and Helen Bilecki Kasmar. He married Francine Deasy, November 11, 2005, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was employed as a reactor supervisor with Argonne National Labratories. Mr. Kasmar was an Army veteran of WWII and a POW captured in Germany for six months. He lived in Midway, Arkansas since moving from Lamont, Illinois, in 1994. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and a member of VFW Post #5819 in Lamont, Illinois. Edward J. Kasmar passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center March 16, 2006, at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 38 days.
