Edward Keller

A Memorial Mass for Edward John Keller, 81, of Mountain Home will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating. Mr. Keller died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at Hospice House. Edward John Keller was born July 4, 1925, at Prescott, Arizona, to Joseph "Joe" and Mary Gunia Keller. He married Wilma Fritz on December 15, 1947, at Des Plaines, Illinois. Mr. Keller was self-employed in the grocery business. He was an Army veteran of WWII and served during the Normandy Invasion. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart Award. Mr. Keller lived in Mountain Home since moving from Chicago in 1969. He was of Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife Wilma Keller of Mountain Home; two sons, Bill (Roxie) Keller of Mountain Home and Bob Keller of Bald Knob, Arkansas; two daughters, Jean (Richard) Best of Buffalo, New York, and Susan Hayes of Mountain Home; five grandchildren, Michael and his wife Ericka, Emily, Becky, Ashley and Shannon; and one great-grandson, James Cole. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Edwin Keller, daughter-in-law Debra Keller, one son-in-law James Hayes.
