Mr. Moore died Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 84. He was born Wednesday, January 16, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of Edward E. Moore, Sr. and Grace Kelley Moore. He married Leora Alderson on December 30, 1947 at Pocahontas, AR . He is a retired Police Sergeant for St. Louis Police Department, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and Korea, and was the original "Eye in the Sky" traffic helicopter reporter in St. Louis. Edward lived in Gamaliel for 35 years moving from St. Louis, Missouri. Survivors: Mr. Moore is survived by a son, Michael (Patricia) Moore of Gamaliel, granddaughters, Michelle (Paul) Manley of St. Louis County, MO and Kelly Nicole Moore of Bull Shoals, AR, great-grandson Hunter Moore, and extended family. Burial: Burial will be in the Maynard Bend Cemetery, Gamaliel, AR. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department. Active Bearers: Paul Manley, Glen Mederios, Steve Caldwell and Robert Mays will be pallbearers.
