Services for Edwin "Woody" Woodsmall 87 of Gassville, Arkansas, will be private.
Woody died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Woody was born December 23, 1922 in Monett, AR. He married Jae Shea on July 4, 1990 at Gassville, Arkansas. He was a retired Production Supervisor for Lindsey Olives in Lindsey, California. Woody was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and lived in the Twin Lakes Area from 1982 until moving to Iowa in 2006. He had just moved back to Gassville when he passed away. He was a member of the V.F.W. and a Founding member of American Tennuvian Horse Association.
Woody is survived by his wife; Jae Woodsmall, one grandson; Ryan Woodsmall of Santa Cruz, CA; two great grandchildren, Hayden and Damian Woodsmall, one step-son; James (Sheri) Vierkant of Sumner, IA; and one step-granddaughter; Hayley Vierkant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Leroy, one daughter, Donna, one sister and one brother.
Memorials may be made to the Altzheimer's Foundation.
