Eldon Riley

Eldon Riley died Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 81. Eldon Ray Riley was born Monday, May 23, 1927 in Bakersfield, Missouri, son of Thomas Bryson Riley and Bartisha Maybell Sloan. He married Martha Riley on May 21, 1950 at Hocomo, Missouri. He worked as a Loan Manager for Blue Ridge Finance. Eldon Riley was an Army veteran of World War II. Eldon lived in Mountain Home for 19 years moving from Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of the American Legion for 29 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Buford Fire Department Auxillary. Survivors: Eldon Riley is survived by his wife, Martha Riley and of Mountain Home, AR, 3 sons, Dan (Naomi) Riley of Mountain Home, AR, David (Debbie) Riley of Deep Water, MO, Darrell (Jenny) Riley of Ocala, FL, 2 grandchildren; Luke and Robert Riley and one sister, Agnes VanBrundt of Kansas City, MO. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral: A Memorial Service for Eldon Ray Riley of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmie Snow officiating.
