Eleanor Heydt

A Funeral Service for Eleanor Theodora Heydt of Bull Shoals, AR will be 10AM Wednesday July 28,2010 at Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church with Reverend Terry Hart and Reverend Fred Taylor officiating. Eleanor died July 23, 2010 at Hospice House of the Ozarks surrounded by her family. She was 90 years old. Eleanor ?Ellie? was born May 12, 1920 at Woodside, NY to Frithiof and Dagmar Ronning Olson. She married Warren Heydt June 26, 1943 at Flushing, NY. Eleanor was a woman of strong faith who devoted her life to making a home for her family. She was blessed with an artistic talent in music, painting, and sewing that she shared with her family and friends. Eleanor moved to Bull Shoals, AR from Massapequa, NY in 1983. She was a member of the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church, sang in the church choir and played the piano and organ. Eleanor is survived by her husband, Warren Heydt of Bull Shoals, AR; son, Richard Warren Heydt (Lynda) of Bull Shoals, AR; two daughters Judith Ann Luetzen of Bull Shoals, AR and Carolyn Heydt of Longmont, Co; brother, Alvin Olson of Huntington, NY; one sister, Dagmar Arnold (Fred) of Crossville, TN; six grandchildren, Kelly Nicholson, Beth Truitt, Kenneth Gooley, Kirk Heydt, Peter Heydt, and Mark Heydt; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marilyn Gemmell; two grandchildren, Karin Suzanne Heydt and Erik Richard Heydt and one great-grandchild Kaylee Breanne Gooley. Burial will be in Kirby?s Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Kenneth Gooley, Jon Truitt, Richard Heydt, Kirk Heydt, Peter Heydt, and Mark Heydt as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
